Good evening all! This is a pic of my "freakin' legit small group" (their term, not mine) on my front steps. They're a group of freshman girls in our church that I meet with on Wednesday nights. I brag to all the other youth leaders that I got the cool group, but really I just think they're nice to me because I can drive them places and take them out for ice cream. I've learned so much from them, but maybe the main thing I've learned is it seems 2000 times harder to be a teenage girl now than it did 10 years ago (wow, I'm old!). Today, we went out for a celebration dinner to Buffalo Wild Wings where, of course, they *had* to try the
Blazin'... needless to say a little chaos ensued. Anyway, I just thought I'd share because these girls are gorgeous and amazing and mean so much to me, and coming from someone that sort of hates all children between the ages of 11 and 21 that says something!
And now, here are a few things I've made recently...
A dinosaur cuff for Everett (another not so bad teen):
These flowers that will eventually (tomorrow) be turned into a few hairpieces and some corsages for mother's day!
I was super excited to do a couple of custom projects this week so if anyone needs anything just jot me a note!
