{Our peonies have been *beautiful* this past week!}
A couple of people have pointed out my neglect of late for ye olde blog. We have been super busy here at the Slaughterhouse trying to close out the school year for Husband, but this week I'm returning to my regular schedule and even have a *Q&A* tomorrow morning that I am *super* excited about with one of my very favorite photographers!
Ok, enough apologies... this weekend Husband and I enjoyed a semi-uneventful weekend (the first one in a while... aside from the wedding I directed on Saturday) and even got to enjoy our normal Saturday routine: Pancakes, Bacon, and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me! It is the best way to start a new week! Some other things I've been up to...

Creating a new pasta recipe that was ridiculously scrumptious!
& Working on a project to kick off a new idea of mine. It is still missing a handle because my sewing machine gave out about halfway through... I was not happy.
I'll be back later with some fun things I've found around the interwebs this past weekend! Hope you're feeling more awake than I am this morning... perhaps it is time for a bit more caffeine!
