4.) While we are on the subject of magazines... Ever since I was a student, I've been super inspired by the typography of Debra Bishop. She's now the creative director at More magazine, but I personally loved her amazing work that appeared in Blueprint Magazine (RIP) including the logotype that was set in Fling. I recently bought the typeface (created by Michael Gills and available here) to use on a new project, and now I just wish I still had my old back issues to flip through. Bright colors, pretty clothes, amazing rooms... *sigh*
5.) I had never seen the offices of Urban Outfitters (home to Urban Outfitters, Free People & Anthropologie), but I think working in this old Navy yard would be super inspiring...
6.) This has nothing to do with anything really except I saw this camera in Lonny and it is called Mr. Pink... how adorable is that?
I still have all my copies of Blueprint. Loved that mag, I think it was not marketed well. It also tended to miss the mark with it's audience by always featuring very high priced items. I think it needed more of of a "Budget Living" philosophy, rather than "Vogue". :)
