*the week thus far*

 Dear new readers,

I promise my blog is not always so neglected. We are enjoying the very short summer together before Husband starts band-ish things again, which means lots of fun and outdoors-y-ness without a lot of computer time. Greetings from Chattanooga! It is only Wednesday and already we have had one amazing week! We were in Atlanta this weekend for some much-needed relaxing with family time, and then Monday night we were at the Fox for Conan's *amazing* last show! It was 3 hours of non-stop hilarity! and I am totally ready to fork up that $10 for basic cable so we can watch him this fall. I miss my Coco before bed. The band was incredible! And, special guests included this guy...

...as well as Evander Holyfield and Deon Cole (his writer that had been doing some awesome stand-up when the Tonight Show was still good). Plus, some random dude that opened and way over-played his hand.

Before the show, we stopped in at this amazing hotel (a recommendation from a blogland buddy) and got drinks. Sipping a cosmo in this bar made me feel like Beyonce (in a cute, white-girl, Southern belle sorta way).

 After a day back to play catch-up on a few things and do lots of laundry, we are now in Chattanooga for the rest of the week. Husband is doing a band-ish thing, and I'm exploring as well as working on some business-y plans that I've been putting off. I am super excited to try some local restaurants as well as wander through Rock City. I was born here, but don't remember anything really so I'm excited to have time to explore it as a grown-up. We are staying downtown at a magical little inn. I've only been here a couple of hours, but I'm in love! Will have an inspiration post tomorrow. Until then, have a great Wednesday!
